Manage Workspace Settings
Update workspace identity, understand the danger zone, and know when to upgrade to an agency account.
Use Settings > General to manage workspace identity and account-level actions.
What You Can Change Here
The General settings area is where you update:
- workspace name
- workspace logo
- workspace-level account actions
This is also where Salambo exposes important irreversible actions, so it is worth treating this page as an admin-only area even if several teammates can view it.
Rename Or Rebrand A Workspace
To update the visible workspace identity:
- Open Settings > General.
- Change the workspace name if needed.
- Upload or replace the workspace logo.
- Save the change and verify the updated identity appears correctly in the app shell.
This is useful when you are standardizing naming across environments such as Production, Staging, or client-specific workspaces.
Understand The Danger Zone
The danger zone contains irreversible or high-impact actions. Depending on your workspace type and permissions, this can include:
- deleting the workspace
- leaving the workspace
- upgrading a standard workspace to an agency account
These actions should be deliberate. If you are unsure, pause and confirm who owns the workspace and how billing, agents, and client accounts are affected.
Upgrade To Agency
Upgrade to an agency account when you need client workspaces under a single parent environment.
After you upgrade, you can:
- create client workspaces
- manage them from the parent agency context
- track sub-account usage and limits
This change is intentionally one-way, so do not upgrade a standard team just to test the UI. Upgrade when client-workspace management is a real operational need.
Good Admin Habits
- keep production and non-production workspaces clearly named
- make the primary owner explicit inside your team
- use the logo field if you manage multiple client environments and want fast visual confirmation
- review the danger-zone actions before onboarding additional admins
